In September 2008 the Russian – Dutch joint venture 4RCap established Climate Change Global Services (CCGS) a leading carbon development company in Russia with offices in Moscow and Archangelsk which continues to operate using the established CCGS brand in the countries of the Former Soviet Union (FSU).
In September 2009 4RCap acquired the South African carbon developer Blue World Carbon with an office in Cape Town. The Blue World Carbon brand is now used for all of 4RCap’s carbon market activities outside the FSU countries.
In January 2011 4RCap established Blue World Carbon South East Asia with an office in Singapore
