Construction of a gas transmission network for associated petroleum gas utilization in the fields of OJSC Surgutneftegas in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District
The project aims to increase associated petroleum gas (APG) utilization by building compressor stations and gas pipelines in the fields developed by OJSC Surgutneftegas in Western Siberia, in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District (KhMAD) of the Russian Federation.
This project covers construction of three low-pressure gas compressor stations (LPGCS) in Bittemskoe, Alyokhinskoe and Ulyanovskoe fields, a compressor station (CS) in Ai-Pimskoe field and 25 gas pipelines with the total length of 563 km that would connect some remote fields and sections with the existing gas transmission infrastructure.
The newly built facilities have made it possible to reduce APG (especially low-pressure APG) flaring and instead deliver it to end-users.
